Biography
tacica (タシカ, tashika) is an indie trio from Sapporo that formed in 2005. They played their first shows at Sapporo’s BESSIE HALL and COLONY clubs.
They released their first EP, “Human Orchestra” on LilBallet Records in 2007. Their second, “黄色いカラスe.p.” (Kiiroi Karasu, Yellow Crows) came in January 2008. Their first full-length album, “Parallel Park” came out in May.
The origin of the band’s name comes from the Chinese character “確”, which means “certain”. The reading in Japanese is “たしか” (tashika).
