This isn’t related much to the content of this website, but it is significant enough to show. I don’t know how old this is but I’ve just seen it.

What will the internet, the world be like in 2014? A video from that time tells us what could happen. The future involves Google, Amazon, and Epic [...]

One last photo

Everybody likes their camera phone, right? Well some Japanese might just like their’s a bit too much. Apparently, people have been using these tiny cameras at funerals. Some mourners actually pull out their camera phone to get that final snapshot of the dead.

I’ve recently seen an flashy commercial on TV for IFEZ, the Incheon Free Econimic Zone. Most of what I remember are skyscrapes, water, a kid, and buisness people on a walkway. Vague summary huh? That isn’t important though. This ad sparked much curiousity in my mind. A commericial advertising such a thing seems very unique. [...]

A few robot steps away

By Shay • Dec 3rd, 2005 • Category: Japan, Technology, news0 comments

A curiosity of mine has always been robots. The closest thing to my technological dreams is Honda’s ASIMO. ASIMO (Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility) is an advanced bipedal humanoid robot. The robot can move about much like a human: foward, backwards, sideways, on stairs, and even more advanced fuctions like running and kicking a soccer [...]
