Manga adventures at the bookstore are fun. I go to the store with absolutely no idea what to buy, browse the manga section for however long it takes to find something that sparks my interest, take it home, and read it.

About the only manga that I read these days is “Love Roma” (ラブロマ) by Toyoda Minoru (とよ田みのる). I was able to purchase all 5 books from the series while in Japan. I also picked up a copy of AFTERNOON Magazine (アフタヌーン), the monthly manga magazine which first ran “Love Roma”.

It’s been announced that super-popular manga, Death Note will be made in to a live-action movie. Actually there are plans for a sequel even before the first feature comes out. The first installment will be released in June, the sequel in October, hopefully.
