OK. Let’s start from the beginning…

Specifically, ONE OK ROCK’s “The Beginning” single and how it affects you. Well, first off, these guys are the face of Modern Japanese rock. They are also young and marketable, as mainstream as you can get, and their mix of Japanese and English lyrics makes for a very catchy single.

So catchy in fact that this single is the main theme to the live action movie version of “Rurouni Kenshin.”  That’s pretty rockin’ ya know.

This video has already amassed over 34,000 views in a day. Anime fans and J-rock fans might just scramble to buy the single at CDJapan out 8.22.2012.

So what do you do? Just give in and enjoy it. A great summertime rock song attached to a big Japanese movie. It’s totally OK.
