C’mon Aileen, why so indie?

Klan Aileen remind us that indie chicks will never give you the time of day in their video for “Astroride.” They are too busy taking Polaroid photos, smoking, and looking pretty in their dyed hair and colored stockings.. what is this? 1994?  Well it just may be.

And Klan Aileen are reversing the shit out of their guitars in this retro haze of a track. Everything you hate or love about indie for indie’s sake in music, well Klan Aileen exploits the hell out of it. “Astroride” will always be the tease you expect.. it’s never going to be the subconscious Astroglide you want. We know you were thinking it.
