In April, ar came out with their fourth album, not so creatively, entitled “YON”. For many, this release went under the radar. Even though virtually unknown to the international scene, ar are no newcomers. They have been around since 2003 and picked up steam in 2006. Ever since then they have been gaining momentum. “Akasaka Nice Day” incorporates catchy rhythms with an electronic and piano melody that creates an energetic track. Along with the vocals of front-man Atsushi Kubo the four piece comes together to form, for lack of better term, an eargasm.
