Ah, now we get to the nitty gritty. Videos #4 – #2 bring the funny. One will leave you out of breath. One will show you the worst possible covert ops and one will gend your benders or bend your genders. All three videos should at least make you smile.

#4 Comeback My Daughters- “Why”

Whew! The whole band of Comeback My Daughters are attacking a couple of blocks of  New York City with their instruments in hand. It’s like they are late for a gig or practice or something. “Why” is a beautiful pop song and “Hey!” I like it. But I LOVE the video. I also love shaky cam videos, and anyone who plays guitar outside a taco bell express is a friend in need.

#3-Dezille Brothers -”Gokigen Naname”

Keeping tails on a girl can be hard work and usually requires a team of experts. Yet when said girl is having the worst possible day of her life, she pretty much leaves a trail of disasters that anyone can follow.  The Dezille Brothers are hilarious in this and produce one of the funniest video and funkiest video of 2011.

#2-10-Feet- “Sono Muko E”

So what could possibly funnier? Well the band 10-Feet in full Geisha drag. These guys sound like the Barenaked Ladies gone hard rock and they literally rock out with their cocks out in the single “Sono Muko E.”  This humorous video reminds me of something the Foo Fighters would put together. Just plain AWESOME.

Which begs the question, “What could be more awesome than this?” Stay tuned for #1 and a few runner-ups that deserve mention.
