Recently, I came across this awesome band named Luck Life (ラックライフ) and their PV for “Link”. The band has a nice clean sound that radiates through their musicality. This song comes off their 1st album entitled “World is you”.  The sound of Luck Life can, at times, sound like other bands of their genre, but the addictive melodies are sure to win you over.

The recent trend, it seems, in Japanese rock music videos on the indie front have been the inclusion of lyrics in the video. This idea is picked up by Luck Life’s simplistic music video. The video shows the journey of a character as he takes his steps dictated by the emotions of the song. The song picks up and so does the little guy as he starts sprinting before the peaceful conclusion that melds well with the song’s pace.
