Kaminarigumo hasn’t yet jumped on the Instagram bandwagon. They go retro with old school photography in their video for “ブラインド フォトグラファー.” And dare I say it? They also go retro with some Weezer-esque keyboard and guitar.

Yeah, the sound is familiar, but I really enjoy the strength of the lead singer’s voice enough to sort of overlook this. Kaminarigumo’s new album Smash the World is slated for an 11/2/2011 release. Preorder from CDJapan.
