Poppunk(x) * y = Music I love where  x = catchy and y = hoppy and all of this is divided by (you).

I barely remember algebra, but I do know that pop punk’s fun factor is determined by how grounded the punk group is into their scene and their ability to get their fans a’ hopping and singing along. SpecialThanks is a special group that is as pop punk as you can get with a female lead singer that sounds like that overly saturated Canadian pop artist that begins with an “A.”

Yet to see a video where it’s just the band playing in their colorful set/garage is about as real as a pop punk group can get. I accept it for what it is and can enjoy it just the same. “You = Music I love” is a pretty neat song that you can sing a long to, bounce to, and at least have a little fun with, and it’s just cool to see the band as a group rocking out and not focusing on just the lead singer (like the cover of their album.) Ok.. I’m rambling now.
