The Cigavettes are definitely a retro rock band. Their sound ranges from Beatles-like to the Turtles and even in their latest single “Tales of Long Summer” they manage to pull out a little Beach Boys. It’s a summer tune, so the Beach Boys homage seems necessary.

The PV still captures the silliness of 60′s videos and reminds me a lot of the campiness of the Monkees TV show or the Beatles movie HELP. I’m not sure if they have a fascination or obsession with this ERA gone-by, but I too long for these silly simpler times.
