Sakanaction- Rookie PV

If you wear a Pink Floyd shirt, expect trippy shit to happen. Sakanaction’s latest video for “Rookie” take us down that “Groundhog’s Day” road where the main character gets stuck in a time loop and experiences the same day over and over and..

well it makes since because “Rookie” is an extremely looped techno track that sounds entirely electronica. Let’s hope the band hasn’t put away the guitars for good, but I do think this is a nice diversion.

Sakanaction’s single Rookie is out 3.16.2011. Preorder from CDJapan.

Check out Sakanaction’s official website for the latest and greatest.

had to listen to it a few times but this is as expected completely Sakanaction. Indeed the synth does dominate most of the song but the guitar has not disappeared. In my opinion this strikes out their former singles. Nice song and interesting video.
