Aie’s rocking ability deserves severe recognition.There is a fine line when it comes to singing loudly versus screaming and yelling. Aie toes this line brilliantly in the song “音の言葉光の音”

The accompanying instrumentation rocks just as hard and finds an excellent balance in the hard/soft format. Multiple guitars for loud and fast parts vs piano and one guitar for softer slower parts. Did you notice the dude in the corner juggling GUITAR and PIANO? You sir are a soldier of rock.

If Aie’s new album Hikarika is anything like this first single, expect greatness. Look for its release on 2.2.2011. Preorders taken at CDJapan.
