We don’t get much from this new video from alt-rockers a flood of circle. For one, it’s a “short version” of the music video. For two, it’s strewn with clips of the OVA for the anime Air Gear, which kinda makes sense as “Miss X DAY” is the theme song for that movie. But, with all the changes that’s been going on with the band, it leaves you wanting more.

For those not in the know as to what I’m talking about, the band announced the past December that the original bassist Yasushi Takashi Ishii would be leaving the band for medical reasons. They also said that he would be replaced by HISAYO of the art-electro rock group tokyo pinsalocks. “Miss X DAY” represents the first release by a flood of circle with their brand new bassist and, even with this limited sample, you already can feel her growing presence in the band.

If you want to know more about a flood of circle, feel free to check out their official website and MySpace.

Not really, it sounds pretty much the same as their past stuff to me. But I think it’s kinda cool, because I got to interview tokyo pinsalocks when they played in America.
