As the upcoming “MUDA” starts to take shape, we get a stripped-down look into the lackadaisical setup of SAKEROCK. But, this plain-faced band shouldn’t be misjudged. While absent of any sign of vocals, the largely instrumental band manages to build its extremely charming approach to music with whimsical yet catchy melodies, led by trombonist Kenta Hamano (浜野謙太). Fans of bands like riddim saunter and YOUR SONG IS GOOD will catch onto SAKEROCK very easily.
