Ashigaru Youth are a humorous band that should be taken seriously for their extremely sugary pop rock sounds. It’s also a dichotomy of appearances as well. The front duo sport the mod rocker look, while the drummer and bassist look the rather normal slackerish rock part. But there is no need to split them up, because as  a whole, Ashigaru Youth make up something so good, that you might hear a song about it.

“It’s so good” is the first single off Ashigaru Youth’s new album Nice to MEAT You, which is either a pun or straight up sexual innuendo. The album drops 10.20.2010 and you can preorder from Yesasia.com right now. The song “It’s so good” is indeed an infectious confection. Sugar rock pop in the likes of  Matthew Sweet. Nice harmonies and a rather badass guitar solo make this track more than good.
