Noanowa’s newest PV for “Squonk no Namida” is breath-takingly beautiful in sound and spooky in tone. The animation is almost tribal and the music is hauntingly embracing as hands reach out for you at the start of the track.
Yukko’s voice is starting to sound like Bjork with emphatic punctuations of words, but when she belts out the chorus you can still get lost in her voice. The guitar breakdown is extremely spiraling, sinking you deeper into the song as well. So much good stuff to love in this track. Then ending is so beautiful you might just cry.
If you like this all encompassing sound, then why not check out Noanowa’s full album Magical Circus that came out 8.4.2010. Get it at Yesasia.com now.
