Magical girl transformations can be punk too… at least if you are a wienner.

The wienners have created a very pop punk hyper fast song “Idol” that is catchy enough to dance to and also crazy enough to scratch your head to, and before you think they might be completely off their rockers, they end with a big F U to the viewers.  Excellent.

“Idol” is the first PV off of The Wienners album Cult Pop Japan released on July 7, 2010. Buy it from yesasia.com. Watching the video you can tell they are exploiting all of what is considered cult pop Japan to most other countries. It is quite humorous but also rocks.
