Releasing their second full-album “シンクロニシティーン” (Synchroniciteen) earlier this month, 相対性理論 (Sotaisei Riron, Theory of Relativity) is certainly one of Japan’s more idiosyncratic pop bands. Not only is their name an oddity, but they rarely make public appearances. Even in the music video for “ミス・パラレルワールド” (Miss Parallel World), the band is never shown once. However, they do make for catchy if not quirky music.
