amazarashi’s “光、再考” (hikari, saikou – light, reconsideration) is beautiful. The Aomori-based duo of Hiromu Akita and Manami Toyokawa may have an agile, lightweight sound but in “光、再考”, they deliver each strike with heavy emotion and dynamism. It’s a simple, refined song that bleeds angst.
