I have apparently been really out of the loop, because I did not even know until the video for MASS OF THE FERMENTINGS DREGS’ upcoming new single came out that a new member had been officially added to the band last December. What was once a two-piece all-girl band had become a three-piece GO!GO!7188-like band (except remove surf rock and add cool, edgy post-rock) with the promotion of support drummer Yoshino Isao (å‰é‡ŽåŠŸ) to a full member of the band. “ã²ããšã‚‹ãƒ“ート” (Hikizuru Beat) is also the band’s entry into major-label status. While I was slightly concerned this might have ramifications for the unique sound of MOTFD, this thankfully doesn’t seem to be the case. At least so far.
You can find more info on the band at their official website and MySpace.

Nice find! I haven’t listened to much of this band, but this song is pretty much forcing me to seek out more by them.
