Here’s a grating, intense instrumental from self-described “noisecore prog-rock” trio BACTERIA. The properly titled “Heavymetal Man” is off of BACTERIA’s latest album, LOST, which came out in September. It’s chaos but remarkably coherent sounds are able to find their way out and be heard. The bass player has giant shoes!?
These guys have been rocking out together since 1989. For more info on BACTERIA, check out their official site and MySpace page.

Yeah, it’s pretty in-your-face =P I’ve heard a bit of their other stuff (I want to hear more!) and some of the songs roll and build to a climax more — unlike this which begins with a wall of fire.
The shoes…yeah, right? There’s a photo I saw in a magazine of them just standing around and HOLY! he’s got the shoes on. I’ll try to find a link =)
