LACCO TOWER – “Ichigo”

An update: Hi, apparently the server holding SparkPlugged’s theme, plugin, and image data ‘sploded or something. We’re currently in the process of restoring everything back to the state of supreme awesomeness that it previously was in. The essentials are all fired up and cookin’ but some other fine details and images in posts a few months old are still incomplete and partially missing. They should all be restored very soon. Thanks for your patience!

“苺” (Ichigo, strawberry) by LACCO TOWER is pretty darn cool and comes from the band’s upcoming mini album, 短編傷説, which drops on July 22nd.

The song snaps back and forth at first and had me thinking, “this is intense, ah no it’s not, oh wait wow!” The PV is simple yet creepy and that’s highlighted by the striking red masks periodically wrapping around the band members’ heads. I love the balance between crazy-aggressive and not-so-much and the way the piano/keyboard works its way in throughout the song.

After watching that, I’m certainly excited for LACCO TOWER’s latest. For more info, check out the band’s official website and official MySpace.
