ザ・ガールãƒãƒ³ãƒˆ (The Girlhunt) recently announced that their upcoming third album “.” (ドット, dot) is set for release on April 2nd. So, this is a perfect opportunity to share a blast from the recent past: “アカゲラ” (Akagera, Great Spotted Woodpecker), which is off of The Girlhunt’s 2005 mini album of the same title.
Amazing stuff and just another example of why bands with two lead vocalists are so cool. Check out the band’s official MySpace page for more pre-album hype.

nice! I was lookin for stuff by them awhile ago and couldn’t unearth anything at the time. They’re on the same label as Multi Colored Vox was; which is usually a decent indicator on the quality of music.
And The Girlhunt doesn’t disappoint

@Rocky: Glad you like both =)
@Jimi: That’s cool! Any friend (or labelmate) of Multi Colored Vox’s is a friend of mine. Also, like I said and to let others know, you can buy most of The Girlhunt’s discography on iTunes (US!!) and Amazon MP3. Great stuff and indeed, The Girlhunt doesn’t disappoint, hehe.
