“青空” (Aozora, blue sky) is quite a trip and it’s one I want to hitch a ride along on more often. It’s by はやぶさジョーンズ (Hayabusa Jones), the psychedelic & progressive rock solo project of Hiroaki Sano. On his official MySpace page, Sano says that he’s “trying to mix psychedelic music with the dark side of Japanese literature.” Fascinating stuff.

“Aozora” is off of Hayabusa Jones’ recent album, 赤と黒 (Aka to Kuro, red and black), which came out January 21st. The song and PV are pretty amazing and I love, love the Pink Floyd-esque guitar solo!
