“コイニオチタ” (Koiniochita) is one of the latest PV/singles by Gulliver Get (ガリバーゲット). I love this song and PV although if you’ve heard any of Gulliver Get’s stuff prior to “Koiniochita”, it sounds nothing like this. The saxophone player is a hint at what they may typically sound like and they haven’t changed completely, so no worries.

The PV is pretty goofy and I love the first “hitotsu, futatsu, mittsu, yottsu, itsutsu” counting part. I think I have a bit of a thing for Ayao.

I’ll start a trend by following Jimi’s lead in saying that this is a precursor to something ‘bigger’ to come. Yanadimean?

Wow, I hate the song, it sounds like a GIZA song… I know they actually are under GIZA label, but the only song I know (Start no Aoiro, their lastest PV, from their second album) is really good and not GIZAesque at all (can you feel how I love this horrible label ;-) )… I hope Koiniochita is an exception in their discography.

Yeah I know what you mean by that GIZA sound. I agree about “Start no Aoiro” being considerably different. It is a better halfway between the pop-rock they’ve been playing with and a lot of the original stuff. This all seems so tongue-in-cheek, that’s what makes it end up working for me. “Koiniochita” is the glaring exception from their past work that I enjoy and some of their new stuff sounds nothing like this. Nothing =P
