STANCE PUNKS’ PEACE & DESTROY
By Shay on Dec 8th, 2008STANCE PUNKS drop their latest thrashing bomb (the “boom” kind, not the flop kind) on us in the form of PEACE&DESTROY.
PEACE & DESTROY is the 5th album from veteran rockers STANCE PUNKS. The album is out December 10th, 2008.
Staying true to classic punk rock themes, PEACE & DESTROY features tracks with titles like “Hello, No Future”, “黒いブーツ” (Kuroi Boots, Black Boots), “ワーキングホリデーの悲劇” (Working Holiday no Higeki, Tragedy of a Working Holiday), “Please Die Tonight” and more. The rowdy and malevolent imagery is already in the titles, so one can image what’s jampacked inside each of the PEACE & DESTROY’s 12 anthemic tracks.
The cover art for PEACE & DESTROY looks something of a cover of a lost Sex Pistols release.
December 10th is a big day for STANCE PUNKS fans. Not only does PEACE & DESTROY deliver a heap of new songs to rock out to, STANCE PUNKS are also releasing a fiery concert DVD titled 10th Anniversary ワンマンライブ 2008.03.09 (One-man Live).
The 10th Anniversary DVD features over 25 songs performed live. STANCE PUNKS put a lot of “sweat and tears” into “the longest live in the history of the band!”
STANCE PUNKS is Tsuru (Vocals), Kinya (Guitar), Tetsushi (Bass), and Kenichi (Drums). Since 2005, they’ve been signed with KOWALSKI RECORDS, a division of Sony Music.
