The world’s smallest 8GB flash drive
By Shay • Apr 8th, 2008 • Category: Bonus Happy Fun TimeStanding tall…er short, the Pico-C fits 8GB of flash memory onto the size of a quarter.
The 8GB Pico-C by San Jose, Calif.-based memory manufacturer Super Talent is pretty awesome. A mere 31.3mm long, the flash drive can pack a whole lot of Word documents and mp3s inside. It’s also water resistant.

The Pico-C measures in at 31.3mm x 12.4mm x 3.4mm.
The -C is the third in Super Talent’s super-small Pico series of USB drives. All are uniquely and equally cool. The Pico-A has a swivel guard and is water resistant and the Pico-B is retractable. “Pico drives are available in capacities ranging from 1GB to 8GB,” according to the official product page.
That’s all great but what’s best is the price. Memory has been really cheap as of late and these super-small devices are no exception. All three 8GB Pico drives retail for under $35. Sold!

I want one!
That is pretty cool. I really like it. And to think that in a couple years that great price will seem to be outrageous!
Totally agree Todd, just think what we are going to be using in 10 years time… its outrageous.
But yea, I want one :D
Yes, memory nowadays is really cheap. During the PC fair held last week in my hometown, an 8GB Kingston usb drive is sold at the price of RM95 (approximately USD30)
Considering this and the MicroSD stuff we have now, I can’t even imagine what we’ll have in ten years :P Probably the only reason why this thing isnt smaller is so it can fit into a USB port ^^
