Tachikoma, Lego style

Legos and a good anime like Ghost in the Shell are pretty cool. So how does it get better? Ghost in the Shell Lego models perhaps.

Tachikoma (タチコマ) and Fuchikoma (フチコマ) are those adorably awesome tanks from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Here’s some Lego Tachikoma and Fuchikoma creations by TOYの領域 (Toy no Ryouiki, Territory of Toys):

These aren’t the only Tachikoma models out there but they’re some of the best photos. The tanks could be replicated by those ambitious enough. I wish this was a kit.

  1. Those things are really cool!

    I miss my legos.

  2. …I almost wanna buy a kit right now :P

  3. I loved my lego… I started a Mario video made out of lego but I ran out of red pieces :/

  4. That was always the problem for me too! I’d always get all ambitious but then run out of the same color brick…always :P

  5. My friend and I would always build these big robot mechs. They kind of looked like the 2 legged walkers from Star Wars. But He would always get to color coordinate his, simply because they were his legos. As I result I only got the weird colors and it always looked like mine were build for the circus.

  6. I heard a rumor they were remaking it into a live action and I cringe at the thought. It’s blasphemy that they are doing Akira. Someone needs to die.
