YB (Yoon Band, Yoon Do Hyun Band) will rock out at this year’s SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas.
The popular Korean rockers will play the first of two shows March 13 on the SESAC Day Stage at Austin Convention Center. Their second show is later that night at Bourbon Rocks Patio.

This is the veteran quartet’s second year playing at SXSW (South by Southwest) and they are the lone Korean band at the music festival.
YB (윤ë„현밴드) is lead vocalist and guitarist Yoon Do Hyun (윤ë„현), guitarist Heo Jun (허준), bassist Park Tae Hee (박태í¬), and drummer Kim Jin Won (김진ì›). They formed in 1994 and have recorded 9 albums since their debut and play over 100 concerts a year, according to their official site.
“I plan to bring the international audience together as one through the sound of Korean rock. Since it’s a global event, we’re prepared to do our very best,” frontman Yoon Do Hyun said in a KBS article.
