Does the Olympus E-3 really have the fastest autofocus? Who cares, one of their ads do.

Here’s a Korean advertisement by Diamond Ogilvy for the Olympus E-3. Whilst the ad is simple and not very sophisticated, it remains tasteful and gave me a good laugh.

The ad certainly motivated me to look up the E-3 digital SLR camera only to discover that it’s way out of my price range.

You know where my eyes went first but I love the look on those guys’ faces.

I know “who cares” but I’ve played around with the Olympus E-3 and combined with the Olympus 12-60 F2.8-4 lens. I’d say it is the fastest autofocus around (but that’ll last only for a few more months). I wouldn’t suggest the E-3 to anyone that wants to do anything low light though. At ISO 1600, it isn’t that significantly better than camera released years ago, and at ISO 3200 it’s really rough.
