The popular Japanese folk duo Yuzu (ゆãš) has been doing their thing since 1997. With the 10th anniversery of their first release approaching, how about a “best of” release?

Yuzu, which consists of Kitagawa Yujin (北å·æ‚ ä») and Iwasawa Kouji (岩沢厚治) has been very popular over the years. They found great success since their humble roots as street musicians from Yokohama.
ゆãšã®ã 1997-2007 (Yuzu no Ne) is the new 2-disc, 31 track compilation album from the duo. It’s a soothing collection of acoustic guitars and vocal harmonies.
Since 1997, they have released some 15 albums (including previous hits compilations like Home [1997-2000] and Going [2001-2005]) and 23 singles. They’ve released something consistently every year since their debut.
One of the songs included on Yuzu no Ne 1997-2007 is “境界線” (Kyoukaisen, Boundary Line). The song originally appeared on Yuzu’s 1998 album, ゆãšä¸€å®¶ (Yuzu Ikka).
Yuzu a new video for “Kyoukaisen”. The PV is a nice collection of clips and stills that complement the warm, comfortable sound of the song. Relax and feel good.
“Natsuiro” has always been my favorite song by Yuzu.
