After what seems like forever, KREVA’s new album is finally here!

The stylish Japanese emcee dropped his new album in the early part of September. His long-awaited 3rd album, よろしくお願いします (Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu) hit stores and quickly entered the Oricon Album charts Top 10.

The time in between the first single and the final release of the album was over one year. With that much time in-the-making, it’s no suprise how complete Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu is. It’s 16 solid tracks of KREVA-brand hip-hop.

KREVA’s Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu has some good standout tracks. Among them are the previously released singles “Have a Nice Day!”, “The Show”, “アグレッシ部” (Aggressive), “くればいいのに” feat. 草野マサムネ of Spitz (Kureba Iinoni feat. Kusano Masamune from SPITZ), and the most recent single “ストロングスタイル” (Strong Style). The album also includes new gems as well as a couple fresh remixes.

Tracks on the he album are pretty chill and playful at times. That’s KREVA baby.

For a commericalized rapper, KREVA does a pretty good job holding it down when it comes to music. KREVA’s unique style, consistently fresh beats, and attitude elevate him. His lyrics are sometimes simple and other times carry good meaning.

The loops and beats in KREVA’s music always stand out to me. There’s always a degree of complexity and catchiness to each song it seems. (He was accompanied by 2 DJs when I saw him live.)

This is the PV for KREVA’s latest single, “ストロングスタイル” (Strong Style) which is slated for release on Oct. 3. It is short and the video is simple but it is pretty cool.
