Hey “Kidd”, Let Me Dance
By Shay • Jun 1st, 2007 • Category: Korea, Videos, humor, indie, musicNow it doesn’t get much better than this, that is, when it comes to fun, cool, party music bouncing with happiness.
Super Kidd (μνΌν€λ) is a Korean indie rock band. The 6-member party rock band can be characterized by their uniquely happy and comedic songs and performances. They’ve recently found success in their genre from the release of their first full-length in 2006. In other words, it’s good stuff.
One thing that seems to stick out from their music is unique vocals. Often spiced up with some rap flavor, Super Kidd’s vocalists create their own unique style. I’ll stop there.
I don’t want to analyze their stuff too much though; simply because it’s such a good time. Such analysis may take away from my light-hearted enjoyment. Super Kidd makes it clear, they’re here to have a fun — so let’s rock out…
Here’s their music video for “Let Me Dance”. It’s jammed full of video games, misunderstanding, fake news reports, and a creepy exibitionist. Have fun.

This MV makes me dizzy; the song is fair, not exceptional.
If you are to ask me what’s a cool Korean band, then I’ll say “Crying Nut” is really cool/chill. “Loveholic” is damn good too, but I think a lot of people heard of them already.
Ya ya, I heard that Crying Nut is really cool. I’ve been searching for an album of those but have still come up empty handed. I just got 2 cool Korean CDs by the bands Viva Soul and NoBrain. One is soul/hip-hop, the other is punk rock, and both are great stuff! ^^
