i love hoops and yoyo
By Shay • Nov 27th, 2006 • Category: More, Opinion, humor, internetHallmark’s eCard superstars hoops and yoyo have officially won me over. The pink cat (hoops) and green bunny (yoyo), famous for such eCards as the “1,000,000 thank you’s” and more have quickly made me a fan.
I was under the impression and hoops and yoyo were simply characters featured in a series of eCards. Upon checking out the colorful duo’s official site, I has happily suprised. hoops and yoyo have an array of entertaining features on their site: from animated introductions, short cartoons, tons of downloads, Q & A, a blog, and even a podcast!
As far as I’m concerned, hoops and yoyo could be an even larger entertainment property. I like the little guys enough and I’d sure be a supporter…I already am!

I’ve been a Hoops and Yoyo fan since they first appeared on Hallmark a couple of years ago. I was like you, thinking they were just some cute little creatures, but then realized that they were hilarious and witty and come off with some clever dialogue that would make seasoned comedians go ‘Wish I’d thought of that!’ I own the original H&Y stuffed dolls, which might become a weird collector’s item because the company that made them screwed up on the design and made Yoyo bigger than Hoops! (They have a new edition though — I need to buy it). And when I went to England last year, H&Y went with me, turning up in front of Big Ben, enjoying English desserts, waiting for the Queen at Hampton Court Palace (even if she doesn’t stay there) and enjoying the sites at Bath!
I’ve sent their million thank you’s e-card out to a few people since Christmas, and to show you how insane I am, I turned down the sound and let them go ‘thank you’ for about 15 minutes. They STILL hadn’t hit 5000! LOL
Always glad to see another H&Y fan!
Hoops and Yoyo are absolutey the best! Being one of random thought and chatter I completely relate to thier thought process on things like “clouds”
I have turned on many who need a good laugh !
Thanks so much for showing some love to these awesome pair
my 6 year old grandson and I love hoops and yoyo. we log on to their website and watch them over and over again. i’m going to buy him the stuffed dolls and i know he’s just going to love them. glad to see i’m not the only adult who has been smitten by the two little guys.
I’m a 61 year old senior (actually just a teenager with wrinkles), and I LOVE Hoops and Yoyo. My first experience with them was last Thanksgiving when a friend sent me their e-card. I couldn’t stop laughing. Now I faithfully wear my Hoops and Yoyo watch which I couldn’t resist. My granddaughter thinks it’s nice…I’m crazy about it. I’ve turned several of my friends on to them. One of my 78 year old friends think they’re the BEST. Whoever creates them is a genius. Thanks for keeping them coming.

I am the 78 year old above mentioned friend of Cher’s. I just LOVE Hoops and Yoyo! I, too, am turning friends and relatives onto them, regardless of age! They are so much fun!!!! They’re fresh, and funny, and so very welcome! After the laughter comes the smile, and that lingers for the rest of the day and beyond! To quote my friend, “thanks for keeping them coming”.
