Japan Sinks…a worse case scenario
By Shay • Aug 7th, 2006 • Category: Japan, Videos, moviesAlthough I’m not a big fan of disaster movies, Japan’s latest effort in the genre couldn’t help but catch my attention. The film, Japan Sinks (Nihon Chinbotsu) which was released in theaters on July 24th portrays the ultimate catastrophic disaster: the sinking of Japan.
The trailer looks very intense and crazy. I’m not quite sure if it’s something I’d run to the theater to see it though. Frankly, it scares me. Earthquakes + earthquakes + tsunamis caused by earthquakes = a terrifying worse case scenario disaster flick.

I don’t recomend going to see it either!! It s boring!!
haha, thanks. The preview looks excited but movies often turn out to be boring ^^.
There were lots of promotion of this movie while I was in Hong Kong. From the MTR(subway) to huge TVs that were hung on buildings. However, I never did manage to go watch it, but instead, I watched “Death Note” which I think was pretty good.
