Summer’s Theme 2006

This summer’s theme song was personally scrutinized over and selected by your’s truly. I give you Summer’s Theme 2006:

“Catch the Wave” by DEF TECH

DEF TECH is currently pretty hot in Japan. Their music can be classified as Jawaiian Reggae. SHEN is an American from Hawaii and MICRO is from Japan. They’re a unique combination performing unique and cool music. “Catch the Wave” was even ranked #1 for Best Summer Songs (夏うた) by Music Station! Thanks goes out to Teruyo for introducing me to DEF TECH.

“Carry On” by EXILE

Although “Carry On” was actually released in 2004, it’s my summer 2005 theme because that is when I first heard/watched it. “Carry On” by EXILE also works as just about the ultimated ‘cheer-me-up’ song.

Does anyone have thoughts on any other good summer songs?
