I must say that I am rather impressed by last.fm’s new look. The facelift and new features seem quite slick. Despite sporadic hiccups, last.fm does a good job of evolving and fufilling some pretty cool tasks. But someone please tell me…why the hell am I so interesed to look at what I’ve been listening to on my computer? It’s cool and all but I honestly don’t get it.

Last.fm shines through to me because of its recommendation system. I’ve discovered an array of new and good artists as result of browsing the many wiki-fied band profiles. The revamped player, recommendation radio feature, dashboard, and new look are among the cool new stuff. I’m excited!
