Japanese men want to be beautiful too
By Shay • Apr 17th, 2006 • Category: Japan, humor, newsAccording to a recent article, some Japanese men yearn for beauty. Spa treatments, manicures, body-shape enhancing clothes, and more are becoming more and more popular for men.
These men don’t just want to enhace their appearence and feel beautiful, some of them even enroll in classes for learning good manners.
An anspiring beauty of a man was interviewed and claimed that this sort of transformation has made his relationship better and given him much more confidence.
Well, I’d say that it’s all good if something like this can give someone more esteem. So long as these men don’t start cross-dressing what they’re doing is normal enough.
I look at this trend as a good thing. With Japan supposedly getting fatter as a nation, I rather look at bunch of pretty boys than a bunch fatties when I walk on the street. Well, as long as they’re not fat pretty boys.

Yeah…the boys are getting into beauty too. The other day I saw on news that some guys put light make-up like foundation & stuffs, haha. Beautiful boys I’d say?
Surfing mixi, I realize that many boys are reading men’s egg magazine..haha
Miki:
Haha! I actually have an issue of mens egg. though i find the prices that these guys spend for fashion is downright ridiculous!
i’m just amaze on how far men go to make themselves “pretty.” Isn’t my unibrow sexy enough? haha jk! Looks like we’re heading back to the rococo period fella’s.
Unibrows? Try hairy backs! ;-P
I can see bathroom wait times increase ten fold in households across the country as men start jockeying for time in front of the vanity with their significant other.
I think this is happening all over Asia. More and more Korean men are getting plastic surgery.
