Recently released is a great Hong Kong hit-filled album. The release is EEG Number One Hits Selection (Vol.2). The album features some of the biggest hits from a handful of celebrity singers on the EEG Record Label.

Those artists include Eason Chan, Edison Chen, Yumiko Cheng, Nicholas Tse, Twins, Anthony Wong, Sally Yeh, and Joey Yung. From that line-up one can assume this CD has some of Hong Kong’s most recent and biggest hits. Specifically, the inclusion of Nicholas Tse, Edison Chen, and Joey Yung make this compilation album stick out to me.

This CD has some great artists on it but only if there were an ultimate, non-record label specific compilation. The afformentioned artists plus Andy Lau, Hacken Lee, Jay Chou, Kelly Chen, Faye Wong, etc. would make for the hugest most mainstream album ever. I’d be down.

An EEG-exculsive compilation is more than satisfactory though. Plus the CD is quite cheap at 14.99US. Check out EEG Number One Hits Selection (Vol.2). Obviously, there’s a Volume 1, give it a look if you’re interested.
