Big TV or little person?

The below photo is currently one of the ‘most viewed’ photos on Yahoo. The TV is Panasonic’s 103-inch plasma TV. It is the world’s largest HDTV.

BIG TV!

Upon seeing the photo I was amazed at the size. Being that the only reference for the TV’s size is the woman in front of it, it got me thinking. Maybe she’s just really small and the TV may not be impressivly large at all.

That’s not at all true but it’s fun to think so. I wouldn’t mind having a mega-huge HDTV. Heck though, I’ll just settle for a little HDTV.

  1. Is the woman included?

Roughly, I think she’s about 5′1” Getting technical. Judging by the angle of the camera. The perspective is looking down. Sooooo…. ahhh Nevermind! I would also settle for a smaller HDTV. ^^

  2. Damn! My new 32 inch LCD just became old-school. What’s the price tag?

  3. I bet that costs at least seventy five bucks.

  4. Not bad.. I’ll place few of these in my house. One in the dinning room, the living room, in all the bathrooms, and of course, my bed room.

  5. Looking more into this, Panasonic says that this TV will be out by this Christmas. They did not say how much it will officially cost though. To be safe, I’d say Toad is close-enough. :)

  6. Bastards! I’m still living with this 10+ year old TV that will never be replaced as long as there’s a way to fix it (even if bright colours tend to blur on it into an unrecognisable blob)
