I am proud to know that Suikoden V is around the corner. Alas, I can return to my dust-covered PS2 and once again reign supreme as the Nameless Hero, all the while on a quest to collect The 108 Stars of Destiny and not sleep for days. Maybe the dust-covered part isn’t true but the rest is.

I have been a huge Suikoden fan for sometime now and the fact that the most recent incarnation of the series is just around the corner (March 28th) has me very excited. I recently read a print ad for Suikoden V. It described the game like this:

“With the queen in danger and your homeland under siege, you as the prince must gather the 108 stars of destiny and defend the crown you will never wear. Welcome to Suikoden V, the epic adventure where the fate of an entire world awaits your command”

Who wouldn’t be excited after a pitch like that? Well, I guess it’s not too appealing if your not a geek/Suikoden fanboy like myself. Hopefully I’ll post a review for it when I get my hands on it. I know I’ll like it. Even if everyone else dislikes it, my adoration and bias will get in the way. Just joking, I really hope it’s as good as the Suikoden games before it. Actually,I just hope the Japanese, accordian-wielding master, Coba does the theme song again! SUIKODEN V!
