Pororo the Little Penguin!

Well, I am now content in my search for all things cute. I’ve found a children’s entertainment property that satisfies my true, inner-child. The show is a South Korean cartoon called “Pororo the Little Penguin”. I’m excited.

“Pororo” is obviously about a little penguin named Pororo. The story follows his adventures with the rest of his arctic friends. They include Loopy the beaver, Petty the penguin, Poby the polar bear, Harry the hummingbird, Crong the dinosaur, and Eddy the fox. Apparently, episodes often show in 7 minute installments and “Pororo” has been on the air since 2003. The theme song makes me way too happy as well.

There are also “Pororo” plushies. I want one. It’s as simple as that.

I have not (yet) seen “Pororo the Little Penguin” but I’d love to watch it just to satisfy my inner-child, or maybe it’s more like my inner-toddler. Say what?

    I have a Pororo, Loopy, Poby, and Crong.

    I love them!
    hahah so cute.
    My favourite is Looopy since it captures the essence of Loopy very well.

    I m woman 28, at indonesia, i’d love to waching this film at transtv. But for this time i can’t watch this show again.

    I am an American who just traveled to South Korea on business last month. When on the plane I watched Pororo and later, while there I found a DVD at Lotti Mart. I have shown them to my friends and family back in the US and there are more Pororo fans now than there were. There is no one that could not learn something of value from these little creatures.

    I just got a Pororo plushie! WOW, I love it! He’s soo cute and he even has a snowboard. What a cool little guy :)

    My name is lene, im a girl form norway, of all places.. I’m looking for a Pororo-toy for my 1year old son, who loves him! We got the dvd’s, and I’m searching the web for a toy, but I can’t find it. Those of you who has the toy, where did you get it from? please, help me get a Pororo! thanx! :)

    Hi Lene, YesAsia.com used to sell some Pororo toys but they don’t seem to anymore :( but eBay may be your best bet: HERE
