DelayStation 3

I could go on about how jealous I am at Mike since he just bought Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence but there is more important news in the world of the PlayStation. But if you haven’t heard the news already, your either not a gamer, not a PlayStation fan, or you’re just slow on gaming news. Hopefully the latter is true, so spit it out already Shay!
The Sony PlayStation 3’s launch is delayed until November 2006. This major delay for ‘technical reasons’ is horrible news for the legions of salivating fanboys wishing to spend their entire Summer Break in front of their TVs playing mediocre launch titles. Sorry boys, and sorry everyone. I had no intention on buying a PS3 upon launch but even I am disappointed by this news. This delay stinks in that the later PS3 launches the longer I have to wait for a price drop so I can actually afford the thing.
On the positive side though, this delay gives Mike more time to play MGS3: Subsistence since he won’t have to consider MGS4’s release for the PS3 anytime soon. MGS4 may already be slated for release in 2007, but by the way things are looking now, that’s November 2007!
Fanboys unite, voice your opinions, and be heard!

R U sure about the PS3 is going to alive in November.
What about in Japan? The other PS3 website said that the Japanese PS3 is going to alive in spring.
what the heck is happening!!!!
tell me!!!!
and I liked the name of Delaystation 3!!! ^_^ >_
Bye Bye
P.S. I like Hamburgers.
If i get any of the nex-gen systems, it’ll be the PS3. The last Xbox has two games i would have wanted, and the 360 has just one. The Gamecube has a few games i might have liked, but i never felt compelled to get one, and the Revolution stinks of gimmick to me. But i had, and still have, lots of fun with my PS2, and hopefully the PS3 will continue being as much fun. Looks like i don’t have to worry about getting one for a while, though…
Kaoru: I am just referring to the US launch date. I assume that it will be out in Japan sooner. What the heck is happening? I wish I knew…I want the PS3 to come out!
FifthDream: I agree with you. PS is where all my interest goes too. I’ve never liked Xbox, I have a Gamecube but like the DS, I’m just not interested in the games. My patronage will surely go towards a PS3, sometime.
Since November is my birthday. This mean, there’s a great chance that I’ll get a ps3 as a birthday present! hehehe..
I heard somewhere that the PS3 is not going to be region specific, meaning that we’ll all be able to play any game from anywhere, which, if true, is really, really cool. I have to say, I was bummed that the XBox 360 turned out to be region specific — I wanted to bring one home from Tokyo in time to play Oblivion. But I guess I have to go out and get the US model. ;-(
