Pyramid Head…?

With the Silent Hill film under heavy construction, many alterations to the game can already be noticed. One of which is the appearance of Pyramid Head.

But wait… No James Sunderland? Being a huge Silent Hill fanatic myself, I encountered a strange question: How can the film have Pyramid Head without James Sunderland? The purpose of Pyramid Head’s existence in Silent Hill 2 was to serve as a manifestation of James’ guilty conscience. So, I’m wondering if this is just part of the flimsy habit of modern-day filmmakers to add unnecessary material to the film to provoke more excitement.

However, I do have a fair amount of faith in this film. Christophe Gans is noteworthy for making brilliant films. Also, with the pictures that have been released behind the line, the sets look spectacular; they actually correlate with the game’s landmarks.

  1. I realy hope this won’t end up like the Resident Evil movies. I am, nevertheless, looking forward to it.

btw: there is a glitch with the link

  2. I’m trying desperately to have some hope for this one. With any luck they won’t wreck everything, even if they make some purist errors like Pyramid Head.

  3. Maybe Pyramid Head isn’t the quilty conscience of just James. Maybe it’s the same thing to every person who enters Silent Hill.
